Plans and billing

A network is billed by the number of items it holds: files, notes, documents. Every item counts as one, whatever its size. There are two plans. You upgrade from your network page; Stripe handles the payment.

free paid ($10 a month)
items 25,000 500,000
devices unlimited unlimited
cloud connections 3 unlimited
pad storage 1 GB 50 GB
agent queries about 200 a day, fair use about 10,000 a day, fair use

Each live item in your index counts: a file, a note on the pad, a document. These do not count: items you have deleted or moved (their old addresses keep a forward for a while), and the files inside a folder that the scope excludes.

Items are counted with every update from your devices, so the number on your network page is at most a few minutes behind.

Your network page shows ok, near (from 90% of the limit) or over.

Over the limit:

  • new items wait: they are not indexed until there is room;
  • updates to existing items, deletes and moves still apply;
  • search, reading and your agents keep working;
  • a write to the pad is stored, but it is not indexed until there is room, and the API answers 402 to say so;
  • raising the plan, or removing items, releases the waiting items in order.

Open your network page and choose Upgrade to paid. Payment is a card through Stripe Checkout. Manage billing opens Stripe’s portal for your invoices, your card and cancellation. A cancelled subscription returns the network to the free plan at the end of the period; if the network then holds more than the free limit, new items wait as above and nothing is deleted.

Only the network’s owner can change its plan.
